Since its inception in 1999, it has been a day to bring awareness and education to the transphobia faced by the transgender community every day. Up for discussion is the marketing levy that is managed under the auspices of the Destination Cape Breton Association. The organization’s CEO Terry Smith will be presenting to council.

According to the province, the current process around marketing levies is “time consuming, inconsistent and has caused confusion for municipalities, tourism marketing organizations, event organizers, sponsors and visitors.” Those who need financial assistance with the respite expense to participate, contact the project office atThe Cape Breton Eagles take on three different teams over four nights at Centre 200.
