It's horrible to see now how abusive airliners are now. They will cancel your flight, leave you stranded, cause you to spend thousands of dollars to get back home, loose your baggage etc. even cost you a paycheque or even your job if you can't get back in time from your holdiday.

Same crap happening at YYC with WestJet as well! Employees telling passengers to “just go home as flights are not off loading luggage” but in reality they actually are! So much unclaimed luggage sitting for anyone to come and grab - it’s unreal!

We landed at 12:30 am on December 23. Waited 3 hours for my son's luggage which was checked at the gate. It never showed. Made a report and still haven't heard anything.

Then there’s that guy who said, “I waive all my health and safety rights, Air Canada and Pearson” then proceeded to get on the luggage conveyor belt and crawl inside the luggage belt to retrieve people’s luggage. (There’s a Tiktok of this).
Left on Transat flight 186 Christmas day and after a three hour delay for baggage loading, the flight took off with only a small portion of pax luggage on it. So a conveyor belt goes out of service that means there's no contingency plan?
After waiting on tarmac for two hours, had to wait another three for luggage on Sat at Pearson. About four or five flights’ worth were piling up on one carousel. It was overflowing and baggage and boxes marked “Fragile” were crashing into each other. It was hard to watch.
