'They have a right to be angry': Trudeau says residential school legacy ongoing

Trudeau told reporters in Vancouver that Canada was responsible for “horrific things” happening to Indigenous people and the injustices are not isolated in the past.

Trudeau made the comments following a tense appearance Monday at a memorial ceremony at the former residential school in Kamloops, where he faced angry chants from some.

Stop talking and start acting! Be the man we know you are and take action now, you can right this evil now! Pass anti racist law, give back the land now!!

Politicians from 1830 to 1997 are responsible all or in part with the clergy, Catholic and Protestant who ran and governed all the residential schools. What could have been an excellent system of education was ruined by those who misused their power. So another useless politician
