Ten Senate Republicans asked Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to reject President Joe Biden ’s request for $9 billion for Gaza humanitarian aid.As we’ve seen in the past, this so-called “humanitarian aid” will likely be channeled through international organizations, including the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees .
The request includes $30 billion for the Department of Defense to help supply Ukraine with weapons and replenish U.S. stocks. There is also $14.4 billion to support military intelligence in Ukraine and $481 million to help assist displaced Ukrainians arriving in the U.S.$14.3 billion for Israel. This includes $10.6 billion for air and missile support and $3.7 billion to help the State Department “assist in embassy support and foreign military financing.

I also thought that they were a designated terror group which makes it illegal under US law to provide any support for. Since the “purse strings” are held by The House, what does Schumer and The Senate have to do with this? Is Brandon confused as to how the government works?
