THUNDER BAY – Love, ambition, and self discovery are three themes that Magnus Theatre is bringing to its main stage starting this weekend.
Performed on the stage in front of a live band, this musical takes audiences on a heartfelt and relatable journey through the high and lows of relationships, career aspirations, and personal growth. “What's interesting about it is that the author, who is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, musical theatre composer of the 20th and 21st century just keeps revisiting this piece. This is the newest version of it. We're really excited about that,” he said.
The protagonist, known only as "the Girl," is played by the multi-talented Gabi Epstein, who has performed in Thunder Bay once -- in 2017 as the Killer Queen in We Will Rock You.
