ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — SiftMed, the AI-powered medical tech startup, has clinched TechNL's Startup of the Year" award.

Their groundbreaking platform securely analyzes medical case files, aiding Independent Medical Experts , legal teams, and insurance claim professionals in making swift, data-driven decisions for fair bodily injury claims. In February SiftMed secured $2.7 Million in seed funding, with support from Sandpiper Ventures and key investors like Pelorus Venture Capital and angel investors.

SiftMed's vision of becoming the central hub for processing medical data across industries is gaining traction, thanks to partnerships and support from government entities, including the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, Government of Canada, National Research Council, and the Genesis Centre.
