The Tampa Bay Lightning have traded defenseman Mikhail Sergachev to the Utah Hockey Club, NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly announced during Day 2 of the 2024 NHL Draft.
Sergachev, 26, appeared in 34 games with the Lightning during the 2023-24 regular season, collecting two goals and 19 points while averaging 22:33 of ice time per night. He missed most of the year with a broken leg that was believed to be season-ending — until he returned for two games with the Lightning in the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs.— NHL News The Montreal Canadiens originally selected Sergachev in the first round of the 2016 NHL Draft.
Moser, 24, is a 6’1″ left-handed defender who collected five goals and 26 points while averaging 20:34 of ice time in 80 games with the Arizona Coyotes during the 2023-24 regular season. The 2021 second-round pick is a restricted free agent in need of a new contract this summer.
