Suspect wearing clown mask steals booze, sandwiches from Oak Bay rec centre: police

During the overnight hours of Sept. 20, two suspects were captured on CCTV breaking into the facility.

Once inside, the suspects hit up the Sports View Lounge, where they proceeded to steal numerous alcoholic beverages and pre-made sandwiches, according to the Oak Bay Police Department. At the time of the incident, police say one suspect was wearing a white clown mask, black wig, black hooded jacket and black pants. The other suspect was wearing a black hooded jacket, pants, and black shoes and had tattoos on their right hand.Sign up for our newsletter to get breaking news and daily digests sent to your email.Oak Bay Police say they are investigating the theft are asking anyone with information to contact them at 250-592-2424.
