The girl was with her mother and sister at the Chocoland Cafe, 237 8th Ave. S.E., around 10:30 p.m. when a man entered the business and sat at a table the family.
When the mother briefly left the table, the man allegedly grabbed one of the girls by the arm and asked her to let him come closer, a CPS release states. Police say the girl and her mother yelled at the man, who ran from the business. He is described as five feet eight to six feet with dark hair and a full beard. He was wearing a white button-up short-sleeved shirt with blue vertical stripes, dark khaki-coloured shorts, a brown belt, white socks and dark-coloured loafers.
Anyone with information about the identity or location of the man is asked to contact Calgary police at 403-266-1234.
