CTVNews.ca spoke with several experts to get their advice on some basic guidelines to follow during the pandemic, ones that will minimize risk while maximizing enjoyment.

With Canadians likely to do more travelling as a result of the warmer weather, this also raises concern over a potential increase in the spread of COVID-19, explained Bowdish.

Considering COVID-19 is a respiratory virus, he explained that the best way for it to spread is “when you are in close contact with people in an enclosed space for a prolonged period of time.” Examples of this can include a factory where employees work within close proximity of one another, being at home with a loved one who’s infected with the virus, or even spending time on public transit.

Whether you’re hosting a small gathering with close friends and family members, or even working out, it’s for this reason that both experts suggest doing as much of this physical activity as you can outdoors. The people you live with are often the safest to interact with as well. But as lockdown restrictions continue to loosen, you may be looking to extend your existing social circle to family members and friends outside your household.

Chakrabarti even suggests designating one person in your household to do all the shopping, ideally someone who would have limited exposure to other social bubbles. This not only reduces the chance of transmitting the virus to others, but also leads to less crowding in public, another factor in increasing the spread of COVID-19.

Sorry CTV, the “pandemic” is over

Just don't go out simple.

This is ridiculously confusing. How do you open patios, Beaches and campgrounds and still ask people to social distance? Who is going to do that when they are using washrooms and toilets used by thousands?

The Only Rule: When going out, always carry a sign that is either opposing racism, supporting blackface or anti-pipeline. - All pandemic rules and protocols will then, no longer apply to you.

Oh fu*k off this is enough already. CanadianPM didnt seem too covid worried joining a mass protest in Ottawa with no social distancing. Anyone who is all scared is clearly just a liberal sheep!

'..Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam warned that the country could see “explosive growth” in the number of COVID-19 cases if provinces aren’t reopened with caution. ..' Tam is fine with 10,000 people demonstration, but warn the country for re-opening. 🤡

How to safely have friends and family over amid COVID-19With careful planning, proper hygiene measures and some creative design, experts say getting together with a limited number of friends and family members can be safely done amid the COVID-19 pandemic. As long as you don’t have them over in the nursing home it is safe. Just put up a 'BLM' sign and a 'Defund The Police' sign, the liberal gestapo will leave you alone. Make sure you have over 1000 people over and you're good to go. Wuhan virus only spreads when the gatherings are under 1K.
