Florida Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky makes a save during Game 2 against the Edmonton Oilers, in Sunrise, Fla., on June 10. Alberta ns may be watching every second of the Stanley Cup final but most Canadians are not, according to a recent survey.
Twenty-four per cent of Canadians surveyed say they won’t follow the best-of-seven series “very closely.” Unsurprisingly, Albertans are the most likely to be following the Oilers in the Stanley Cup final. Fifty-three per cent of respondents in the Atlantic provinces say they’re following, while 42 per cent of those surveyed in Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan are interested.
