The Supreme Court unanimously rejected calls to restrict access to mifepristone, one of the two drugs used in medication abortion, in a Thursday morning ruling.

In 2022, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, setting off a wave of abortion bans across the U.S. But abortion rates have generally stayed the same in large part because these bans did not stop people from ordering pills through the mail.
