Recently, the board of directors sent a notice to owners that $3.5 million is needed for renovations and individual unit owners will have to pay their share. Before you moved in, did you not see the state of the units? Meanwhile the Canadian government has committed $1.87B to assist Ukraine this year. GTA makes up about 20% of Canada’s GDP. This would happen 40 years ago! My cousin had a condo townhouse on Wild Briarway near Leslie & Sheppard. She had to fork over all kinds of extra money as the townhouses in another row needed new shingles. Her roof was not needing new roof but she still had to pay. Nothing new
