I was shocked at how many TO's during covid travelled to Alberta and some were moved to tears, worth a visit if not ready for a complete move. Housing, air quality, work life balance is better and a per capita basis the dollar earned does stay in the pockets. Shopping cheaper too

It's true. I've lived in both places and Alberta has more sunny days as well. People are also friendlier, and have a more positive attitude. Calgary and Edmonton have a very culturally diverse population.

If you want to own a decent sized home for about 450K it's a good option.. Around here if you for some reason had 450K in cash, you'd still need to take on a million dollar mortgage on top of it to own a comparable property.
