May 17 open house is part of 'Police Week' across Ontario

As part of "Police Week" across the province, the Ontario Provincial Police will be hosting an open house at the Sault detachment on Great Northern Road. It will take place on May 17 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The open house will feature some of the OPP's specialty units, and uniform members will be hosting guided tours while also talking about OPP Crime Prevention Programs like Safeguard Ontario, Lock it or Lose it, and Fraud Prevention.The theme for this year's Police Week, which runs from May 14 to May 20, is Building Bridges and Community Partnerships.
