City economic development office encourages support of Summer Company entrepreneurs

Nine local youths have been awarded funding to launch their own businesses under the Summer Company program.

The young entrepreneur program provides business training and mentoring to assist high school and post-secondary students in starting a seasonal business. This initiative is administered by the Economic Development division of the City of Sault Ste. Marie. “The Summer Company program continues to provide our youth with an opportunity to explore the world of entrepreneurship with the support and mentorship of local business leaders,” said Jessica Maione, an economic development officer with the city, in a news release. “I encourage the community to support these young entrepreneurs with their new endeavours.”Custom Digital ArtContact: theicecreambarcompany@gmail.comCleaning ServiceCarter Huckson Contact: general@jacksonsmobiledetailing.
