We still don't know what the future holds for the NHL season or what it will look like when it's time to hand out the hardware. But to get the debates flowing, we asked our NHL insiders to pick their front-runners for each of the individual NHL Awards:

As the NHL season pause goes on, we’re left wondering what the first few nights of the Stanley Cup Playoffs may have looked like. We’d be about three or four games into each series by now — but rather, we’re just holding out hope that the COVID-19 outbreak settles enough so that it’s safe to resume and finish the 2019-20 season.Look, we have no way of knowing if we’ve seen the last of this season or not.

The NHL’s stated goal is to not just award a Cup in 2020, but to also finish the regular season, though commissioner Gary Bettman admitted for the first time last week that fitting in all 82 gamesIf that’s the case, then everyone has made their full pitch for the NHL Awards, which themselves have been postponed until further notice. Whether those end up being handed out in person, online, or in some other ceremony remains to be seen.

Not one vote for Dave Tippett hey?

Quite sure the players themselves would be embarrassed to accept awards during this time . Season is done. Time to move onto the new. Lotto Pick, Draft, free agency.

How has noone voted for Blackwood ? Holy crap

who gives a shit

This season is over.... start next season fresh and new...if that's even possible. This years season? Forget it.

Blues prospect Scott Perunovich wins 2020 Hobey Baker Award - Sportsnet.caSt. Louis Blues defence prospect Scott Perunovich has won the 2020 Hobey Baker Award as the top player in college hockey. Great, just GREAT. Most Hobey Baker winners become flops. VAST majority. Cale Makar is SUCH an anomaly. I have Perunovich in my Fantasy keeper pool (8 guys, 100 players per team).
