Restaurants, gyms, cinemas and many other businesses in Ontario are set to open their doors once again on Monday to fully vaccinated patrons, but with COVID-19 levels likely just past a peak, some question if "fully vaccinated" should be redefined.
"I think there's a lot of us who, understanding vaccine science and looking at how we deal with other kinds of vaccines for various infectious diseases, have really said this is probably a three-dose vaccine," he said in a recent interview. "We know that for most people, after the second dose, because of the time since when they got the last dose, immunity has waned pretty substantially and so it's not nearly as protective as it was," he said.
But Premier Doug Ford quickly shot down a recent question of whether the system would be updated to require three doses instead of two.Both NDP Leader Andrea Horwath and Ontario Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca called for vaccine certificates to require third doses, saying it would help encourage more people to get boosters.
Horwath suggested that Ontario hasn't updated its vaccine certificate requirements because the government has "failed" in getting third doses into arms.
So when they tell you three isn't good enough you need the fourth shot. When will this stop. Trudope bought all these shots and won't get paid until they are all in our arms. It's time to get used to Covid because it isn't going anywhere it's the new flu.
Double vaxxed and got omicron. It was very mild and now I have antibodies. No need for 3 dose requirement. Let people choose for themselves rather than coercion through medical passports that don’t help with transmission.

Considering vax status doesn't determine who can and cannot spread covid I'd say the passport is completely useless. Am I missing something?
It's time to ditch the mandates the masks and lockdowns they haven't worked and nor will they ever work. The only thing that is going to work is to rebuild our healthcare system to the point that it will handle this pandemic!

No it’s not. You answered your own headlines question. Evidence shows that young and healthy people are still well protected against hospitalizations with two doses, even nearly a year after receiving a second dose.
The premier and his cabinet have bees so. so silent about the issue of what mandates 'fully vaccinated.' By (not) doing so, premier Ford and his cabinet only confuse Ontarians and through this, create disagreements/angry words towards people that have differing opinions.
Remember folks, and I say this as someone who is 'fully' vaccinated, it's not going to stop. Remember, there is absolutely nothing scientific about not allowing unvaccinated customers to shop in big box stores in Quebec. Nothing. It is to help persuade compliance. That's it.
