You shouldn’t have to sit in traffic: The Ministry of Transportation has scheduled 45 closures in Simcoe on Aug. 11 for roadwork on Highway 11, Highway 12, Highway 26, Highway 400, Highway 89 and Highway 93.
Highway 11 northbound between Laclie Street and Townline Road 12-13: one right lane closed until Aug. 11 at 3 p.m. Highway 11 southbound between Highway 12 South Junction / Old Barrie Road East and Line 15 / Memorial Avenue / Simcoe Road 49: one alternating lane closed until Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. Highway 11 southbound between Townline Road 12-13 and Laclie Street: one right lane closed until Aug. 11 at 3 p.m.Highway 12 northbound between Atherley Road and Highway 11 / Simcoe Road 11 / Old Barrie Road: one right lane closed until Aug. 13 at 6 a.m.
Highway 12 southbound between Harvey Settlement Road / Fairgrounds Road and County Road 51 / Concession Road A: one right lane closed until Aug. 13 at 7 a.m. Highway 12 southbound between Rama Road / Creighton Street and Durham Road 50: one right lane closed until Aug. 13 at 7 a.m. Highway 26 westbound between Carson Road and Lakeview Avenue: one right lane closed until Aug. 13 at 7 a.m.
Highway 400 northbound between Lower Big Chute Road and Highway 12 North Junction: one right lane closed until Aug. 11 at 3 p.m. Highway 400 southbound between Canal Road and Jane Street: one alternating lane closed until Aug. 12 at 5 a.m.
