Taking it to the street: Should Albertans boycott B.C. travel over pipeline spat? cdnpoli

Published Tuesday, March 5, 2019 8:59AM EST

In the March 2 piece, Verboven even accused the B.C. government of being “duplicitous” and stoking “anti-Alberta attitudes” while “Alberta contributes hundreds of millions of dollars to the B.C. economy.” “They like B.C.’s weather, they like the ocean, they like the fruit,” CTV Calgary’s Brenna Rose said after a day spent interviewing Albertans about the proposed travel boycott. “They’re not about to stop going to British Columbia for any reason.”

Oh, and to answer the question...'Hell no'!! It's time that the people of this country started acting like adults.

If you want to see what 'intelligence challenged' Canadians look like just read these responses. 'Our mountains, our lakes, our ocean' Since when do you 'own' these things? Intelligent people know that the country belongs to all of us and oil is integral to the economy...SMH!

Hopes and prayers...

Good. They can vacation in their own polluted cesspool.

They won’t they love wake boarding in our lakes surfing in the ocean. Mountain biking and skiing in our mountains hiking in our forests enjoying their summer homes and drinking our wine

They should keep their tourist dollars at home, where it is needed.

Yes but Canada needs needs to boycott everything until pipeline is built

Why should they. I thought it was 1000% JTs fault after all.

You guys have really been stirring things up lately, . How about you report the news instead of offering conjecture.
