“In 1 day, we were deducted 198 billable hours because security guards were showing up to work without being clean shaven,” the email said. “Effective immediately, if you show up to work not clean shaven, you will be sent home immediately without pay.”
AFAIK this is a pretty clear human rights code violation.

N95 mask testing is not subjective. If the MOHLTC mandates N95 masks you have a duty 2 have people fitted. This is a process where a variety of masks are tried & they digitally show where micro bacteria are getting through. You have to pass that test to have a secure fit.

Sikh doctors wear N95 masks so it doesn’t make sense that security guards couldn’t pass the test for N95s by using the same methods that doctors do. Barely anyone is wearing masks now lol. Kind of a late policy

This is just silliness. How long can people ride this Covid train. I have actually read signs recommending continued use of mask; that is only high quality N95 masks. The vast majority of us have had enough. I am sure a mask will fit fine over a beard. If they want to wear them.
