Stephen Joseph Campbell, 54, of Cottage Street was alleged to have committed the offence Dec. 22, 2019, in Glace Bay.Prior to the start of the trial, the Crown informed the court it was not proceeding with the prosecution. The Crown is under no obligation to explain its decision however it is understood there was no reasonable expectation of a successful prosecution.
