Senators prospects Erik Brannstrom and Max Veronneau will make their NHL debuts against the Blues.

Brannstrom, 19, was part of the return from the Vegas Golden Knights in exchange for Mark Stone ahead of the trade deadline. The Eksjo, Sweden native was drafted by the Golden Knights in the first round of the 2017 draft. The blue-liner has seven goals and 29 points in the AHL between the Chicago Wolves and Belleville Senators this season. Brannstrom also captained Team Sweden at this year’s world juniors.

A 23-year-old Ottawa native, Veronneau signed a two-year deal with the Senators on Tuesday from Princeton University after completing his senior season in the NCAA. The six-foot, 180-pound forward scored 13 goals and 37 points in 31 games from Princeton this season, and 144 points over 130 career contests for the Tigers.
