Before Jackson joins it, the Supreme Court is due to rule in major cases including one that could overturn the landmark 1973 decision that legalized abortion nationwide and another that could expand gun rights. The White House said Jackson joined Biden and senior staff at the executive mansion to watch the vote and that the two will make remarks on Friday at an event celebrating her confirmation.
