Shawnigan Lake RCMP and Cowichan Search and Rescue are looking for an 81-year-old woman who failed to return from an afternoon walk Tuesday.
Janet Klassen was last seen about 3 p.m. in the area of White Eagle Drive. Police are very concerned for her well-being. Cowichan Search and Rescue said in a Facebook post that Klassen might have become confused or lost in her neighbourhood, and asked people to check outbuildings and look underneath tarps or decks.Contact Shawnigan Lake RCMP at 250-743-5514 with any information.
