Health Minister Jim Reiter taking suggestion into consideration

Saskatchewan Minister of Health Jim Reiter says he will consider a suggestion from a group of Saskatchewan medical students to have the province fund access to the abortion pill. The Student Medical Society of Saskatchewan is urging the provincial government to provide universal coverage for the abortion pill.

She says that’s unaffordable for women who don’t have third-party insurance coverage or don’t meet beneficiary requirements under the Saskatchewan Drug Plan.Witt points out the province covers surgical abortions, which she says are more costly, riskier, and only available in Regina and Saskatoon.

The thing is, that’s not remotel… TheGrowthOp fakenews. This article is rubbish. I'd does not debunk the fact IWK has received an surge in calls for it since legalization. All it does is site regulations under the cannabis act. Clearly a misleading and irresponsible bit of reporting yet again by the NP. TheGrowthOp This hospital is plagued by mismanagement like many hospitals in Nova Scotia and corruption nothing coming out of anything in NS is all that reliable when it comes to the underfunded, understaffed falling apart health care system that can barely keep functioning day to day.
