The Government of Saskatchewan reported 156 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday and 265 recoveries. Another 115 variants of concern were also identified in the province.

REGINA -- Saskatchewan’s new COVID-19 case count was back above 200 Friday, after the province reported less than 200 new cases for three consecutive days this week.

Saskatchewan’s general population is expected to begin receiving second doses of COVID-19 vaccines by the end of May, according to the province.
