The Queen and the Prince of Wales have both sent letters of condolences to Gov. Gen. The message said that she and Prince Philip have both been “deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life.”“I extend my deepest condolences to the families, friends and colleagues of all those Canadians, and indeed other nationalities, who died, and to the many others who have been affected by this terrible event.”
Clarence House, the official residence of Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, also shared a statement on Saturday. The Prince of Wales has sent a message of condolence to the Governor-General of Canada, following the recent plane crash in Iran.
