Roman reigns for Giants over Seattle

Vancouver Giants fans could be looking at the team record books and the league scoreboard tomorrow afternoon.

Milos Roman has a hat trick for Vancouver on Saturday against Seattle , pushing him to 21 goals on 53 games on the season. He had 27 in 59 games last year. The Giants have been dominant during this surge. Even leaving out a 12-4 romp over the Tri-City Americans, Vancouver has outscored their opponents by a 38-17 count in the other eight games.

That 2008-09 team also had an 11-game win streak from Dec. 3-Jan. 2 that season and set a Giants’ record for wins and points in a season with their 57-10-2-3 finish.

Historian Blair Imani talks blackness, identity ahead of Vancouver visit“I think that it’s crucial for black people of every generation to know that we are our whole selves.” Or, an alternative could be: 'Muslim author encourages anti-semitism.' If a Canadian or an American of European origin came to talk about white identity, would the mainstream media refer to them as an 'activist'? I love how an American comes to our country and tells us that we have the same problems that they do. I love she has evolved in her life but believes that no one else has.
