“The feature could potentially infringe upon local traffic laws or customs while executing certain driving maneuvers,” NHTSA said. Semi and self driving vehicles on public roads is a foolishly dangerous endeavour. Software, hardware, the nut behind the wheel and nature are the unpredictable variables that will stifle this nonsense. Just the liability cost should be the no go factor.
