If the new minority government really wants to show that it cares about Alberta, Trudeau should hold his first cabinet meeting in Fort McMurray

Justin Trudeau has stated his priority going forward will be climate change. He sees it as “unifying.” Many are claiming the election was “a climate-change election.” I beg to differ on both counts.

Legitimizing the mess we just endured under the explanatory banner that it was a vote about climate change is claptrap There is however one sense in which the claim that the election was “about” climate change is true. It may easily be found in the vote in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Ok boomer

Blah, blah, blah I am a crotchety old man who cant accept that not everyone agrees with me

If you don’t think this is a real sentiment then you are not listening. Canadians should at the very least listen to other Canadians. And as for fossil fuels the solution is very easy... stop using them if you don’t want/need them. You can literally make that choice.

Hold the the first cabinet meeting in Fort Mac - wonderful idea - site of a recent massive fire due to climate change. Perfect.

Once again, Rex proves himself to be the oldest and dumbest man in the land. One day he will die, and he will not be missed.

I love Rex--but when he writes 'Why is our national government so supportive of the climate-change engineers, the IPCC' he is betraying ignorance. Read the latest IPCC report-ClimateCrisis is real.

Make Rupert’s Land great again!

itootill ClimateActionNOW

The hypocrites in Ontario and Quebec that elected the sanctimonious hypocrite Trudeau are happy to take Alberta’s money in equalization but don’t want pipelines and want to kill the oil and gas industry in the misguided belief that Canada will save the world from climate change.

You guys are insufferable. Albertans should be upset that their govt forgot to collect and invest royalties and oil is no longer $100/barrel. The rest are just crocodile tears sharpened by this media empire

We need to export Rex. His take much worse than anyone else or even reality!!!

Good points Rex. Those nasty methane producing cows in Alberta are next I guess.

I remember a hat from the early eighties. I believe it said The Republic of Western Canada. We have been here before.

Great work Trudeau.

Fucking Canadians cant even be Original? Cant they come up w/their own saying/motto? You just make Alberta look like a bunch of Trump supporters,& I believed Canadians were better then that In every way, guess I was wrong! BTW,my opinion has nothing to do w/their Political stance!

Rex, have you considered that conservatives, now in two elections, have been confined to support in the prairies and specific rural regions in Canada? Maybe they do have some work to do.
