In its wokeness, Salford University is pushing young minds away from some of the greatest artistic expressions the world has to offer

By the same token, to take these triumphs of the creative poetic mind out of consideration, and to lay on them the brand that they are “products of white western culture” and as such need to be “decolonized” is to commit a sacrilege against poetry and art.

“White western culture.” That in the numb context it appears is meant to be pure condemnation, an utter dismissal. Perhaps it is the fact that the culture being discussed is “western.” In fact I am sure it is. In the world of what we should call Grievance Studies it is not the excellence and beauty of a work of art or literature that counts, but whether is comes from the “right” source or from an artist with the right “identity.” An approach to art and the idea of art that should be laughed out of existence.

Finally, something me and Rex can agree on. I thought that wouldnever happen again.

It's astonishing how utterly oblivious this 'woke' generation and it's supporter's are, of their own glaring hypocrisy.

Have you read Shakespeare’s sonnets? I have. I read them all in one sitting Uni. None of that matters to the pathological. You have to have empathy to fully appreciate the work. Unlike the pathological. He has as much empathy as earwax.

Idiocracy in action. one day we are going to get to the level of figuring out how unfair the law of gravity is and how many accidents is causing. And our leaders at the time will issue a bill to cancel the old law of gravity and tear down the statue of Newton.

Appealing to feelings or prejudices rather than intellect an ad hominem argument. 2 : marked by or being an attack on an opponent's character rather than by an answer to the contentions made an ad hominem personal attack on his rival.

Rex is demonstrating his own brand of anti-intellectualism not only by disregarding decolonization of our arts and literature (I doubt Rex has the capacity to understand if there is an Indian or Chinese Shakespeare equivalent in their history, or that he cares)...

The question is, what are the foundational elements of western culture that inculcates in its citizenry a desire to destroy that very same culture?

You and Conrad Black should take an Uber to the museum where they can put you both behind glass.

Where are the statistics that form this opinion. One class at Cambridge ?

Not as ridiculous as Rex.

Sorry I have a don't listen to anyone named Rex policy
