The Raptors are reportedly expected to pursue Cavaliers centre Jarrett Allen.

are in the midst of preparing for the 2021 NBA Draft on July 29 — in which they draft fourth overall — the rumour mill has shed some light on their potential post-draft plans to remake their roster., the Raptors are expected to be among a number of suitors pursuing Cleveland Cavaliers centre Jarrett Allen, who's currently a restricted free agent.

The 23-year-old, who was originally drafted 22nd overall by Brooklyn in 2017, landed in Cleveland via the four-team blockbuster deal that sent James Harden from the Rockets to the Nets. Allen averaged 13.2 points, 9.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks last season. Per Charania, this wouldn't be the first time Toronto has pursued Allen, as the club reportedly attempted to trade for him in the past.

Elsewhere in Raptors free agency news, Charania reports that a number of teams are expected to pursue veteran Kyle Lowry, with the Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, New Orleans Pelicans and Miami Heat leading the pack.that Lowry is interested in joining LeBron James and Co. in L.A., and that fellow former Raptor DeMar DeRozan is as well.

Allen is a restricted free agent it’s futile to sign him as the Cavs will match the offer unless a sign and trade for Pascal Siakam occurs.

Perfect. Let Lowry walk, draft Suggs and sign Allen. Welcome back to the playoffs Raptors.

Please be true!

Oh man, yes! We’d love him in Canada with his high energy, above the rim game! He’d fill a big hole at the five and be a crowd favourite. WeTheNorth _bigjayy_

All that is needed to guarantee a Jays loss is to mention that an opposing pitcher/player is making his major league debut. Guaran-damned-teed. Simien batting 3rd is not permanent, could see him batting lower behind Bichette and Hernandez. This could also mean the Blue Jays are not Hesitant to trade for upgrade to their lineup, with the trade deadline a week away. Look at amptoken on FlexaHQ
