Graterol, 21, missed time with a shoulder injury last season, logging 70.2 innings in three levels, including 9.2 major-league frames. Rosenthal says that the Red Sox haven’t moved on from Graterol, and people involved in the trade are confident the trade will materialize, but the team would likely ask for an additional player or cash considerations coming from either the Dodgers or Twins.
Verdugo, the other prospect likely on the move to Boston, also missed time last year with back problems, but has been cleared by physicians.
