The chicagobulls have reportedly interviewed Bryan Colangelo for the team's top basketball operations job.

The Bulls are reportedly looking to hire a top executive with full authority on basketball decisions. Toronto Raptors general manager Bobby Webster and Denver Nuggets GM Arturas Karnisovas were pointed out as early candidates last week by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, while Miami’s Adam Simon and Indiana’s Chad Buchanan have also been mentioned, however both have reportedly decided to remain with their current teams.

Sportsnet’s Michael Grange reported earlier this week that the Bulls likely “won’t be granted permission to speak with Webster” by the Raptors. Colangelo, 54, was last employed by the Philadelphia 76ers, working as president of basketball operations before resigning in June 2018 in the wake ofA Chicago native, Colangelo has also served as general manager with the Phoenix Suns and president and GM of the Raptors, winning executive of the year with Toronto in 2007.
