The 2020-21 NBA season reportedly won’t begin any sooner than Christmas Day.

This comes as part of a series of negotiations between the league and the NBPA centred around next season as a whole.

Pushing back the 2020–21 start date is integral to allotting both parties more time to come to a decision on things like the new salary cap numbers.that the NBA and the NBPA had pinpointed a new date for the 2020 NBA Draft, Nov. 18, set to likely be finalized in the near future.
