Cirque du Soleil brings high-flying Corteo to Halifax | SaltWire #cirquedusoleil #circus #halifaxRCMP are seeking information from the public about a home invasion that occurred Thursday in Weaver Settlement, Digby County.
An RCMP news release said Digby RCMP responded at about 5 a.m. to a report of a break-in in progress at a home on Old Yarmouth Road. Upon arrival, officers learned that a man had forced his way inside the home, threatened a resident and tried to steal a vehicle before fleeing on foot with a small amount of cash and food.The resident, a 68-year-old woman, sheltered in a bathroom and did not suffer any physical injuries during the incident.Anyone with information about the home invasion is asked to contact Digby RCMP at 902-245-2579 or submit an anonymous tip to Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers.
