A Quebec woman is in critical condition and another man was injured after a vehicle collided with a moose in an eastern Ontario provincial park early Sunday morning.

"The OPP warns motorists that an increasing number of moose have been coming out of the forest and onto roads, particularly in the area of Algonquin Park, in an effort to escape from swarms of insects," the OPP said in Sunday's news release. Three people were killed and five others were injured Saturday night following a boat crash on the Buck Bay area of Bobs Lake, north of Kingston, Ont., the Ontario Provincial Police said.
