Quebec, Ontario and N.L. begin 2022 with record COVID-19 casesSeveral parts of Canada ushered in 2022 by documenting record-setting COVID-19 case counts after a quiet New Year's Eve dampened by tightened public health restrictions and fears of getting sick in the latest wave of the pandemic. I wish we were at the point where only hospitalizations were announced. That is all that matters now. I get that a TON of cases can still lead to high hospitalizations so we still need to be careful, but comparing these cases to the more lethal variants doesn't make sense. But in BC people have to wait three days because PHO does not work weekends 😒 makes total sense in a Pandemic where 10K + people are infected daily. They take 300K + a year to do Absolutely NOTHING and the people of BC need to get out the Pitchforks it's time BCNDPCaucus Do you remember a time when the news was strictly about news & not over-excessive fear mongering? Those were the times where I actually did want to be a journalist. Now I just absolutely dread the prospect of it because this is all that gets reported on. It's exhaustively stupid!
