What a joke. Take all the funding away. Get rid of the paid duties and on duty officers that assist with road closures. Without funding no roads would be closed and then we can call the police back for the annual Pride Riot. Problem solved.

Has Pride not learned anything ? Pride went from being profitable to losing a lot of money since they banned the cops it is not a coincidence. Pride is not listening to the majority of the community and they had spoken with thier $$ !

Well, when family of those who are at odds with the police is at risk or they need an officer to put their lives at stake for their own safety..... maybe then the members will realize that it is better to thank an officer than push them away.
So disappointed, especially for a group that is all about inclusiveness.

And Toronto should vote in favor of cancelling PrideToronto funding, and Toronto police should provide security only if paid at whatever their rate is.
