There isn’t a single person who met Hazel who didn’t leave in awe of her force of personality. I count myself incredibly lucky to have called Hazel my friend over these past many years. As I entered the world of politics, I was fortunate enough to learn from her wisdom and guidance, which she selflessly offered until the very end.
I remember her. A remarkable woman and amazing mayor
She was 101 and didn’t cure cancer relax people
What the helll is so special about old politicians? There are thousand of old seniors who should get press recognition for their contributions to society. Think people you are being conditioned by the narrative.
She was one of a kind ! Will never be forgotten ! Our sincere condolences to her family RIP HAZEL

Not to speak ill of the dead; but, in the 1990’s, when she was the mayor of Mississauga (and Doug may have still been selling hashish) and I was working with a real estate developer, I had several interactions with Hazel and I know and witnessed her corruption.
