BREAKING: Preds sign Roman Josi to an eight-year extension with an AAV north of $9 million.

The deal is expected to be worth more than $9 million per season.

Josi’s seven-year, $28-million deal signed with the Predators in 2013 was set to expire in the off-season.The native of Bern, Switzerland recorded a career-high 61 points across 81 games in 2015-16 and has collected 361 points in 574 career games.
