There is a Brexit vote this evening, and why TransCanada may lose $900 million

U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May returns from Germany after securing some concessions on the Brexit deal that paves the way for lawmakers to vote on the deal tonight. European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker warned in a tweet “it is this deal, or #Brexit may not happen at all.” Australia and Singapore ground Boeing’s 737 Max 8, as the aircraft maker fears losing orders on safety concerns. And Ontario is looking to ban cellphones from classrooms.Feuding Barrick Gold Corp.

Almost immediately, questions surfaced about whether it was a prelude to a larger deal between the two giants and Barrick chief executive Mark Bristow declined to rule out such an idea. Asked by one analyst whether the Nevada joint venture is merely “a stepping stone” to greater consolidation, Bristow chuckled, writes Gabriel Friedman.

Have you been on a 737 Max 8 recently? Would you fly again on that aircraft if given a choice? Send your thoughts to yhussain@postmedia.com — Yadullah Hussain or @Yad_FPEnergy

How about considering the operator of the plane? Operators in nations where safety, training and maintenance are not top priorities. The 737 is an extraordinarily safe airplane when operated by competent airlines with strong safety cultures.

Spent an incredible amount of time in attempting to demolished Bombardier so... sincerely hope that Boeing get scars in the process!
