Change the way hospitals/procedures are funded instead of block funding. If a hospital was “paid” per MRI/CAT that equip would be fully staffed and running 24/7 with no waiting list.
Start by firing all the top executives who are grossly overpaid and tie future leaders' incomes to performance. Then requalify all medical staff, showing them the importance of following science over narrative, and disband the corrupt and evil Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons
If you think healthcare is bad now just wait until we import 2 million more people. I would guess about 1.5 million will end up in Toronto and 500K in Vancouver. Canadians do not comprehend just how screwed they really are.
tl;dr open private hospitals/clinics and avoid anything run by the government at all costs.
