A man allegedly approached a store that was closed and threw a rock at the glass door, before entering and removing a large quantity of items, according to police. An officer from the Toronto Police dog services quickly responded, putting a suspect in handcuffs after a scuffle.The man crashed the police vehicle in the area of Keele St. and Lawrence Ave. He allegedly got out of the vehicle and smashed the driver’s side of a pickup truck in an unsuccessful attempt to steal the vehicle, according to police.
He also allegedly approached a van stopped at an intersection, and tried to pull the driver out, said police. Officers arrived and arrested him.
