The getaway vehicle, a blue Volkswagon Jetta, had been reported stolen from a Seaborn Street residence in St. John’s sometime between April 25 and 27.It’s also suspected to have been used in a theft from a sports store in Churchill Square on April 26. Around 1 p.m., Clarenville RCMP got word of a theft at Coastal Outdoors where two men swiped clothing before fleeing in the stolen Jetta.
