Almost 60,000 people sign petition to fine those complaining to 911 about Amber AlertsShe said fines are necessary to dissuade people not only from complaining about a valuable service, but from monopolizing emergency resources that may be more urgently needed How about the CRTCeng just change the system to have tiered alerts (instead of one big loud siren for every single issue) as was originally proposed? More laws... more knee jerk reactions... more limitations on speech. Less freedom... less discipline... less expressions of self (regardless of shittyness). These people screaming for more laws are literally reducing our freedoms one ninny complaint at a time I can't believe y'all don't know the difference between expressing your opinion and trying up an emergency service line....*common sense has left the chat*

Ontario police issue safety warning about suspects in 3 B.C. deathsThe Ontario Provincial Police is issuing a public safety warning in relation to the nationwide manhunt for two teenagers who went from missing persons to suspects in the deaths of a young international couple and an unidentified man in northern British Columbia. Never heard this from our Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale about ISIS fighters returning to Canada. I’m sure once these two suspects are apprehended and found guilty, it’s straight to the healing lodge for both of them. Everyone who owns a gun in the area should keep it handy, these guys are ruthless killers.
