STELLARTON - You may think of summer when you think of frisbees, but it’s not just a warm-weather sport. When the conditions turn blustery, Pictou County Ultimate players head indoors and keep right on playing. The Winter League is now underway and runs until March 28, 2023, at the William M. Sobey Indoor Soccer Complex in Stellarton. Games run from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. each Tuesday night at the complex.
There are no set teams during the Winter League. They will be made up each night based on the number of players who take part. The game’s format will be selected nightly to best suit the number of players. Games could be seven versus seven, or six versus six, for example.It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
