The winner of the Metrotown prize home, still under construction, will also receive $1.3 million in cash, $50,000 to spend on furnishings and a Tesla.

Imagine waking up in a new home from high above Metrotown with top-of-line furnishings, cash money to spend for your morning Starbucks coffee and a Tesla waiting for you in the parking garage?The VGH and UBC Hospital Foundation Millionaire Lottery, which recently unveiled the 10 prize packs for its 2023 draw, includes an apartment in a 53-storey high-rise in Burnaby as part of a larger winner's purse worth more than $2.9 million.

But, in addition to the new home, the winner is also set to receive $1.3 million in cash, $50,000 in cash for furnishings, a 2023 Tesla Model X and a $70,000 gift card for Travel Best Bets. "From point-of-care ultrasounds to mobile x-ray machines; from research in ovarian cancer to healthy aging and addiction medicine research, lottery proceeds are providing the best tools to skilled physicians and surgeons, as well as advancing medical care and knowledge in our province," said Angela Chapman, president and CEO of the VGH and UBC Hospital Foundation.

"The simple truth is, if you are seriously ill or injured, VGH and UBC hospitals are your best chance. There are few illnesses or injuries these medical teams cannot treat, no matter how complex or rare."
