Canadian YouTuber Julie Nolke's comedic video series titled 'Explaining the Pandemic to my Past Self' has amassed more than 25 million views online, but the Toronto actress hopes there’s no need for a 'Part 4.'

SHARE

TORONTO -- Less than a month into the COVID-19 pandemic, Toronto actress Julie Nolke wondered: how would I explain this to my past self? How would January Julie react if April Julie told her that the Australian wildfires that had dominated the news for months wouldn’t be the biggest story of the year? Or that she should do a Costco run and invest some money into Zoom, the video conferencing app?“I just kept thinking about how every day something unprecedented was happening. It felt like out of a movie and that there was no way that I could possibly explain this to Julie from three months ago.

Paving the road for full lockdowns

Support for mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations declining among Canadians, poll findsOnly 39 per cent of respondents said getting a vaccine should be mandatory, a decline of 18 percentage points from a similar poll conducted in July Stop telling us what to do and we'll likely make the'right' decision. Maybe if the government wasn't so incorrect and authoritarian all the time people could make a rational decision. Making any medical procedure mandatory is not an option. Besides being against basics human rights and all it’s morally disgusting.
